It's possible to generate a certificate at the end of a course and send it directly to the participant. Here's how to set that up.
Let's take a look at the steps you need to take to create a certificate.
1. Require participant data
Go to Courses and select the course you’d like to add a certificate to.
Go to the Participant data page and require at least the name of your participant to generate a certificate. To send a copy of the certificate, participants must also enter their email address.
2. Generate a certificate from the course
Go to Certification.
Select Generate certificate and Mail the certificate to the participant.
Select a layout that contains the elements that will be automatically added to your certificate.
Select a background for your certificate. Read how to create your background image.
Select a font type and the Text color of your certificate.
Click Save. Your certificate is ready!
Currently, it's only possible to create custom certificates for exams.
We recommend using an academy with a learning path enabled that includes courses and a final exam, accompanied by a custom certificate.
3. Customize the certificate email
Go to Customize email to edit the email you send to participants when you select Mail the certificate to the participant.
