Help your participants save time by enabling access to Easy LMS via single sign-on (SSO). You can configure SSO systems implemented through OpenID Connect for your account or per academy. Here's how!
SSO is available as an add-on.
Step 1: Create an app for Easy LMS
Log in to your SSO system and create an app for Easy LMS.
The redirect URL to add is as follows: https://authentication.easy-lms.com/sso/callback.
For Microsoft Entra ID (formerly known as Microsoft Azure Active Directory), you must choose Web as the type.
For Auth0, the application type is Regular Web Applications. When asked What technology are you using for your project? you can Skip Integration.
After setting up the app, you should have the following three credentials available that you will need for the next step:
Provider URL
Client ID
Client secret
For Microsoft Entra ID (formerly known as Microsoft Azure Active Directory), you need your directory id to create the Provider URL in the following format: https://login.microsoftonline.com/ {your directory id} /v2.0/
Step 2: Configure the SSO settings in Easy LMS
SSO can be enabled per academy.
Go to Academies > Manage > Choose settings and domain. Select Single sign-on through OpenID Connect as the Login method.
Fill in the following information from your SSO provider obtained in Step 1:
Client ID
Client secret
Provider URL
Hit Save!
You can repeat this process for each academy.
When SSO is enabled, participants are automatically added to the academy once they log in for the first time. They then appear in the academy’s participant overview. No academy invitation email will be sent out; only the academy URL has to be shared with the participants.
However, participants must still be assigned to Academy groups. You can do this:
Manually.
Using the API call add participants without invite.
By importing users into the group using Excel.

Step 3: Verify the settings
Go to the academy preview and see whether you are required to log in using your SSO provider. When that works, everything has been successfully set up!
